The food was okay. The red beans and rice and jambalaya are very good, but the crawfish etoufee was bland. Had to pour more hot sauce than I'd expect for a cajun spot. The gator was good, but needs some type of sauce to really highlight the flavor. Drinks were good; hurricane had a solid, sweet flavor. Easy to drink too many, but that's what you expect. The service wasn't stellar. They were packed, but only 3 guys working and it felt like they paid more attention to the bar than other tables.

Spirit of New Orleans in Denver. Amazing food, friendly & engaging staff. If you can't tell the authenticity from the vibe, it's apparent on the menu via staples like etoufee, muffeletta (on true French bread), etc. but what sells me is pasta Monica - my go to outside of crawfish season. When it's crawfish season, they fly in shells and add the fixings for a coveted Louisiana meal. Love this place, highly recommend this place.

I had a catfish po-boy and my husband had the sampler platter. It was really good! There was definitely a community feel to the place- there was a game on and when the Saints scored a touchdown they gave out free shots to the patrons.

Voodoo Tavern is a great place to go if you're missing NOLA. The food is great and the atmosphere bring you back to the French Quater. We love this place so much that when we drive down to Denver this is a place we have to stop.

This place was great, my cousin had a graduation party here and the food they serve was amazing, except for the gumbo I guess I was warned several times lol. Everything else was so good, drinks were very good, and very reasonably priced. The bartender was also very nice and accommodating. The music was pretty good too, all around had a very nice time. It's not the biggest space so I'd avoid it if your groups bigger than like 6 people for an average night out. They have two pool tables as well. And the location isn't all that bad but you might struggle with parking.

This place feels like home! The food is delicious and you can tell this is a well known hangout spot for community members! I also had a chance to try the pineapple upside down cake right out of the oven, and it's one of the best slices of cake I've ever had.

The food was really on point with what I expect it to taste, I ordered the sampler with jambalaya to taste all the staples, definitely portioned properly and will come back. The service was a little lackluster as it wasn't busy but had a great time with my party either way.

The gumbo was amazing, but let’s be real... the red beans and rice came in and stole the spotlight ⭐. Everything we ordered was a hit, no misses at all. And don’t even get me started on the pineapple upside-down cake… chef’s kiss On top of the food being a solid 5/5, the staff was just as great/super welcoming, attentive, and made sure we were happy every step of the way. Great food, great service, great vibes. If your in the area check them out (and order the red beans and rice..).
